Description

This is the first joint meeting of 2018 between Vancouver Rotarians, and the Rotaractors of UBC and the Vancouver Young Professionals clubs. Hopefully it will be the start of a regular and strong connection between all three clubs. We look forward to a meeting where we can share what projects we are all working on and perhaps explore some that we can work on together.

The meeting format will include interactive components designed for us to get to know one another better and will feature reports from various members from each of the Clubs. This follows a buffet dinner of sandwiches, wraps, salads, desserts, tea and coffee. Kindly note that members who are on a pay-as-you-go arrangement will be charged $28 for the dinner, otherwise, your dinner costs are already covered.

It is worthy to note that the caterer, the Potluck Cafe Society, was founded in 2001 to help end the cycle of poverty in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside community and address the needs of it's more nutritionally vulnerable residents through solutions that promote employment and nutrition. How appropriate for Rotary to support such a wonderful community organization! They come highly recommended!
